• Language: Instruction will be given mainly in English
• Start Date: July 23rd, 2024 JST (July 22nd PST)
• Class Time: Tuesdays at 9 am – 11 am JST (Mondays at 5 pm – 7 pm PST)

• Schedule: 120 minutes weekly (× 8 live lessons)
• Class Size: Maximum 20-30 students per class so that everyone can participate, interact and ask questions in class. You can also attend office hours in between classes for further questions.

▷ Course Requirements

Prerequisite: You should be able to read and write all the hiragana and katakana characters including voiced sounds, contracted sounds, and double consonants. If you are an absolute beginner, please check out the Japanese 101 Crash Course.

Materials: Please make sure to get the GENKI textbook and workbook third edition. (If you already have those of the second edition, you don’t need to buy them. Please make sure to let me know prior to the first day of class.)
