Testimonials
Ive always wanted to learn Japanese and when I started this course I did not know what to expect. Learning a new language can seem intimidating especially learning with people who you don't know. However, the instructors were always so kind and knowledgeable. They constantly remind you that this is a place for learning and we learn through our mistakes. I made friends with people from around the world and that have made learning so much fun!! Being able to apply what we learned is a game changer. Though my journey has just begun, I can say Iam able to have a simple introduction conversation, order food, and I learned hiragana and katakana! .
I came into the class knowing a very small amount of Japanese and left knowing many useful phrases and knowing all of the Hiragana and Katakana characters. The instructor staff are very knowledgeable and kind and made learning their language fun and stress-free. Highly recommend taking this course if you have a trip coming up or want to start learning Japanese for your own goals.
This course was perfect for what I was looking for, a basic but very useful introduction to Japanese. The teachers were extremely friendly and helpful and the lessons in the live-classroom made for a very good interactive experience.
It was a great course for beginners, and I had a lot of fun meeting people with similar goals! Sakaya-sensei brought an amazing atmosphere and overall vibe with her to every single class she conducted, and Yuya-sensei explained in wonderful ways and was a great sport during the entire duration of the course.
Sayaka-sensei has a unique and interactive approach that makes learning fun and easy. Her team is amazing as well and were very supportive throughout our learning experience. You will be surprised how much you can learn in 5 weeks. The course covered writing, reading, speaking as well as listening. I highly recommend the 101 course!
