More About Me
My name is Aki, thank you for clicking my page!
I currently live in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, which is surrounded by beautiful nature. I’ve been teaching Japanese at NihongoDekita since March 2020, and as a language learner studying English myself, I completely understand that learning a new language takes time and effort.
Because of this, I believe the most important secret to learning is having fun! In my classes, I create a welcoming space where you can try new things without fear of making mistakes and truly enjoy your journey to speaking Japanese.
Outside of teaching, I love traveling, I've visited around 20 countries so far, and on my days off, I enjoy spending all day playing board games with friends!
